“Words cannot describe how pleased we are with the finishing touches of our pergola roofing. We came across this small business and it great to deal with one person (Mehari) directly through the whole planning, delivery and installation process. He went through what we wanted and Mehari, explained our options and described the finish, once completed we were amazed, it looked better than we had imagined. The whole process was smooth from the planning to the installation. Great professional job with very reasonable pricing. Thanks Mehari, we are so very pleased with your work.”

Colorbond roofing in St Albans & Melbourne's west
New Colorbond roofs for new homes, townhouses, extensions and pergolas, plus Colorbond re-roofs on existing homes, in the colour and profile that suit the house.
What's involved
Pick the colour. We'll handle the rest.
Colorbond is coated steel with a baked-on paint finish, made by BlueScope in a standard range of colours.
A Colorbond roof starts with two choices: the colour and the sheet profile. Corrugated suits older homes and a classic look; a wider ribbed profile suits flatter, more modern roofs. The pitch of the roof decides which profiles will work, so we check that before anything else.
On new builds and townhouses we work from the plans and fit in with the build. On extensions, the job is tying the new roof into the old one cleanly, with flashings that keep water out where they meet. Pergolas get the same treatment as a house roof: proper fall, proper flashings, and gutters where the water needs to go.
Lighter colours reflect more of the sun's heat and darker colours hold more, which is worth thinking about on a west-facing home. If your estate has design guidelines, check which colours are allowed before you choose.
- Colour and profile advice before you commit
- New sheets, ridges, barges and flashings
- Gutters, fascia and downpipes in matching colours
- Clean tie-ins to existing roofs on extensions
- Pergola roofs with proper fall and flashing

0403 652 357What Colorbond colour should I choose for my roof?
Pick from the current Colorbond range for the look you want, then check it against two things: any estate or council rules, and heat. Lighter colours reflect more heat, darker ones absorb more. We're happy to talk it through when we quote.
Can a Colorbond roof go on a low-pitch roof or pergola?
Yes, as long as the sheet profile suits the pitch. Corrugated needs more fall than wider ribbed profiles do, and each profile has a minimum pitch set by the manufacturer. We check the pitch first and recommend a profile that works with it.
Can you match a new extension roof to my existing roof?
Where the existing roof is Colorbond, we match the colour and profile. Older roofs fade, so a new sheet next to an old one can look slightly different at first. Where it's tiles or old iron, we'll talk through options, from a contrasting extension roof to re-roofing the lot.
Do you work with builders on new homes and townhouses?
Yes. Our recent projects include new homes and townhouse blocks, and we can work from the plans and around the build. Call 0403 652 357 to talk through a job.
