Who we are
This website belongs to SH Metal Roofers (Safe Hire Metal Roofer), ABN 33 623 322 945, 78 Perrett Ave, St Albans VIC 3021. You can reach us on 0403 652 357 or hiremetalroofer@gmail.com. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect, and why
When you send the quote form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, suburb, your message, and which page of the site you sent it from. If you call or email, we receive whatever you choose to tell us. We use these details only to reply to you, quote your job and do the work, and we keep them for as long as we need them for that and for our business records.
We don't sell your details, and we don't use them for marketing lists.
Services that handle your details
- Formspree receives the quote form and forwards it to our email. Formspree is based overseas, so your form details may be stored outside Australia. See Formspree's own privacy policy.
- Google Maps: the map on the home page and on our suburb pages is embedded from Google. It loads when you scroll to it, and Google may set cookies and collect usage data under its own privacy policy.
- Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, its servers keep short-term technical logs of requests, which include IP addresses.
- Email and phone: messages you send us are kept in our own email and phone.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This site doesn't run any analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and doesn't set cookies of its own. Its fonts are hosted on the site itself, not loaded from Google. The only third-party content is the Google map described above. The link to our Instagram account opens Instagram, which has its own privacy policy.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your details
Ask us any time, by phone or email, what details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them where we don't need to keep them for our records. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, contact us first and we'll try to sort it out. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
